Mar. 10th, 2007 11:45 pm New celly, same number

Yes, I got a new cellular DEvice. It rules. The Sprint guys tried to sell us out and I was like yo, it's cool. We'll go to Verizon. What do ya know? 25% off all accessories and 50+ bonus minutes a month. Also, a waived activation few ($99 value) for the next two years' contract. Those bitches.

Good news, I work 6.5 hours tomorrow. Not so good news, it's a split shift because half is training. Those bitches.

I am going to Wenatchee Thursday to talk to Technology and Industry teachers. They best watch out.

Feb. 27th, 2007 04:56 pm Best Buy Horrors or Whores

My job is clearly beginning to suck. The people I work with suck except for four people, the customers are nightmares, and they give me either too many hours or not enough hours. This week I am supposed to be closing Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and then work for four hours on Friday. Next week, my hours will be cut down to eleven, and I will no longer be spending money because I have it. The General Manager is officially an asshole because he is cracking down, and overall, it is not a fun experience. They say working for Best Buy will be the time of your life. Well, we know that that is not true, but I actually thought it would be bareable. I guess if I stick it out for six more months, it will be okay.

The Communications Academy is getting to the point where I can't even stand to be there. It is petty drama and dumb jokes and I am getting sick of the entire concept of school. SkillsUSA is the only drive I have going there and knowing that in a short four months, I will be out of high school and will not be looking back. My mom told me she regrets wishing that she would grow up sooner. I know I won't. I like paying my own bills. I hate relying on people.

With that said, I am going through this phase where I don't want anybody's help. I'd rather do all my projects alone. I also want to get off somewhere by myself (like WSU) where my friend, Angel, from the state officer team said we could be roommates when I eventually go. It's just finding out what I want to do in the next couple of years. I'm definitely going to Clark, but I want to get out of here. I am dead sick of Vancouver. The only people pulling me through are Maddie, the Denny's crew, and of course, James.

This weekend, I am off and am going to hang out with Jesse and Wilson to work on our Promotional Bulletin Board, might go see Reno 911, and then hanging out with Ally from work for a bit.

Feb. 5th, 2007 10:32 pm Communications Academy.

Today should of been a good day. It's the first day of my last semester in high school. As many of you know, Communications Academy has been recognized through the state as one of the most prestigious magnet programs in career and technical education, as well as a popular winning chapter in SkillsUSA. Well, I've known for about a week, but they told us today. There were no longer be a Communications Academy. The diagnosis? Lack of funding and meeting state standards in english and history. Here's the thing- they brought in Baker, a certified teacher in English Lit and all history levels. We all passed our final with A's. Every single kid in CA.

The Communications Academy is going into "hiatus". "Hiatus". Well, watch out Vancouver school district- we're not going down without a fight.

Jan. 22nd, 2007 11:41 pm Wii

My dad got a Wii. I went with him to stand in the cold on Sunday at Best Buy. The line was not bad at all. Four families were in front of us.

I've got to work A LOT this week. It is kind of annoying. But oh well, the money is money, so it works.

Jan. 16th, 2007 01:43 pm Baby, it's cold outside!!!

I hit my snooze at 8 AM to be at chemistry by 9, fell back asleep, my mom came in at 8:06 and said today was a snow day. Hot smokin' deal. I played SIMS on XBOX with Matty for awhile, then took Bri and Matt outside and smoked our neighbor on a snowball fight. He had a snow scooter (a razor without the wheels) and we all took turns going down the big hill. (I feel like I am writing as a 12 year old). It was fucking sick. Now, I look forward to catching pneumonia or some other virus because that's just how my life goes.

I'm off work today which is the best part EVER. Tomorrow is family and friend's night and everyone gets 5% off. Pretty awesome.

Well, white sauce cheese raviolis are waiting for me. Peace.

Jan. 9th, 2007 09:14 pm Talladega Nights

I like working at Best Buy, don't get me wrong. However, they need to put more guys in the digital technologies area. Too many girls means too many problems. One very affluent girl makes fun of another because she wears Payless shoes! How ridiculous! That is all she has. My god, for being the self-claimed Christian she is (which I am guessing because the display of the cross on her neck), she surely can make someone feel like shit. I felt so bad for the other one. It makes you reevaluate what you have and how you want to give more to the less fortunate. If that rich girl gave up half of the shoes she probably has stored up in her closet, that could probably give ten people a sense of hope that people do want to help.

In other news, I am watching Talladega tonight. The next couple weeks are going to be sufficiently busy so I am taking tonight to watch my movie and do some chemistry. Yep, time flies by.

Dec. 31st, 2006 01:00 am Eventfulll....

Today was busy, busy, busy. I had my first day of work at BEST BUY.'Twas fun. I met lots of cool people. They handed out a PSP, new Nikon 6.0 mp camera, 2 2-gig Sandisk media player, and a crappy palmpilot like rain from the skies. I was SO close to winning the PSP. The raffle ticket was 6043. I was 6034! Gr!

Then, I went shopping with James. I kind of dragged him along. I got a new book on Yoga and Pilates, a new game for the PC (Desperate Housewives which doesn't work), and a new dayplanner. I was excited. Tomorrow, I am planning on going on a quest for the perfect mousepad. :)

I need one, even though I have a wireless mouse. Sony needs one.

Off to bed for me. I've got to work at 8.

Love,
Jess

Dec. 25th, 2006 06:45 pm Merry Christmas

..Err..I got a Sony VAIO. Pretty damn good Christmas. but not because of the commercialized stuff...my family always puts on pretty good shows, including my brother getting into a fight with his ex-wife and the cops showing up at his door. At least she's the one that got physical, not him.

"Santa" was damn good to me. This will, of course, be my graduation present too, but I am fucking excited.

Hope you all are enjoying being with your families! I've got to go but will be on soon!

Cell phone is getting fixed tomorrow

Dec. 14th, 2006 01:36 am My Celebrity Look Alikes

Celebrities need to stop trying to be me. Seriously...it is getting annoying. I know they want them chubby, round cheeks of mine BUT THEY'RE NOT GETTING THEM.

Haha, that was fun. :)

Nov. 23rd, 2006 02:32 am somewhere in the middle of all this choas....

As of December 30th, I will be working at Best Buy. GENEROUS EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT: 5%. Lousy :(. Kidding, I am very excited. Good bye, evil ice cream cones! (After two weeks that is) I may try to put it in so I don't have to work the final week before Christmas. But that could be a bitchy thing to do. I think I'll do it. I will also be making $9 an hour. Muahahaha.

I've got to fold laundry, brush my teethers, and call James. And then I am hitting the sack.

Peaceeeeeeeeeeeee.

Nov. 15th, 2006 11:24 pm Classmates.com

My mom got ahold of our old family friend, Dena Goody whose family owns a pizza parlor in Rigby, Idaho (middle of nowhere). This reunion was courtesy of classmates.com. Lol, I was like "Mom, that's like your myspace." She responded with "Huh?", forgetting myspace is for keeping in touch with people. Not much these days..I feel like I don't talk to anyone anymore. I'm always rushing around or just sitting at home. I actually went out last weekend with Sterling and Jann and it was fun. We're all going out this next weekend to Portland while James is home.

Finals are the week of December 4th through whatever. I've got a lot of work to do. My Art History class turned out awesome and is ending next Tuesday, with the final on December 5th. We've got two weeks to study (I think). I have got myself an interview with Best Buy on Sunday. An odd day for an interview but it is sooo close to home and I am sick of scooping ice cream. And of my overly religious boss (nothing is wrong with being religious however)...

Tomorrow, I am meeting with Mr. Barber. Heh, I guess he took over the Running Start's online Sr. Project system. Sucks to be him..that guy is probably going to have trouble making commitments.

Goooooooooood nighttttttttt.

Nov. 13th, 2006 12:13 am Busy Busy...

Yeah, I guess I'm not that busy, but I did get my computer back. I've decided I'm going to WSU. Yep, I'm staying home, but only for a year. Then, I will figure out what the hell I want to do, but I can for sure say that it will be leaving Vancouver.

I've been working a lot this weekend. The mall is starting to get really busy due to the holiday season coming up. Meh, I hate it but I don't know if I'll quit right now. I've made threats saying that, but if I'm going to be getting good hours and if I remember that it isn't that hard (its serving ice cream), I will get through it. Sometimes, I make myself feel like I am doing some sort of hard, physical labor. My boss is an asshole, but he's funny at the same time too.

Last weekend, I was up in some small town outside of Seattle called Ravensdale. It was a lot of fun. Its weird being President though. I don't do anything but boss people around. I got critiqued if I offered to do something for somebody. By the end of the weekend, I guess I had it down. I just don't like treating people like they are small or belittling them....I guess it came with the job description though....

Senior year is FLYING by. I will be a full time college student before I know it and will HAVE to work. Woot. Adulthood, here I come?

Oct. 26th, 2006 05:27 pm Stomach Flu

...I have a horrible case of the flu. I am kinda pissed. I don't care what it takes..I am going to direct Fort Sports tomorrow night. It is our last football game. I was also offered the Producer/Director position for Girls' Basketball. I am excited.

Life is catching up too quickly for me. I've got so much to do and having this illness doesn't make anything easier.

Oct. 25th, 2006 09:30 am Errr..

I guess I haven't updated for awhile. Things have been fine lately...vague yes, but there is no other way of putting how quickly time is passing. Everyone keeps asking me about the future. One of my applications is due in two and a half months. I just don't know what I'm doing next year. I feel so lost. And everyday is redundant. Maybe I do need a change?

I'm going to Ravensdale for State Officer Training next Thursday-Sunday. I am excited for that. The only thing that sucks is I might not see James for a month because he is coming home that weekend.

Well.. I'm babysitting Bri for a bit while Janae ran to her work for the "Skywest Airline's Annual Drug Awareness" Meeting.

LOL.

Oct. 11th, 2006 07:08 pm

So..another month has come and gone. I'm feeling...good. I'm working my shit out. I'm doing my best to pull a 4.0 and the chances of that happening are likely. I did bomb my test in Chemistry but I'll make it up. I've got to start my Sr. Paper but I don't think it will be hard.

I'm really sick of the people I have been going to school with for 3 years now at CA. Its not really anything they're doing..its just I need change and seeing them brings back old stuff I want to forget about....

Ive got SATs this weekend so Im looking forward to getting that overwith..
